Board one of our fully equipped vessels for a truly magical trip into Kenai Fjords National Park. You will see, first-hand, the immense power of ice-age era glaciers which carved deep bays - leaving behind thin, jagged, ribbons of land reaching, outstretched, into the Gulf of Alaska. Here you will see the tidewater glaciers leftover from the formation of this incredible maritime landscape. This area is home to countless varieties of the sea birds and marine mammals. On your trip you may spot bald eagles, puffins, kittiwakes, murres, and other seabirds. Also, lurking beneath the emerald-green waters surrounding these fjords you may catch a glimpse of Humback, Fin, or Orca whales, Dall's Porpoise, Stellar Sea Lions, seals, and sea otters.
Fish-on!
Spend a few hours during your voyage on a "Captains Choice" fishing excursion! Your Captain will gear the fishing to target species that are available and BITING at the time of your trip. This may include fishing for pelagic and non-pelagic rockfish, pacific cod, or salmon. During July and August silver salmon and pink salmon are often our main target. While not a "hard core" fishing trip like many of our other charters we offer, this trip is intended to give everyone the opportunity to catch a fish while visiting the amazing fjords surrounding the Seward area.
These trips depart at 7 am and return by 4 pm.
