On the water fishing today with my daughter and friends from Girdwood. Great day with halibut up to 125 lbs. 2 kings and 2 silvers (the first of the season).

We finally got back on the water today after a couple of bad weather days. We had to dodge a little wind but ended up with our halibut and a few Rockfish.

We managed to beat the weather today and come home with a limit of halibut. We even found a couple salmon. Tomorrows weather doesn’t look so promising!

It was down to the wire for big fish family bragging rights between Carl and Becky. In the end both fish weighed in exactly at 85.8 pounds!

Another day of bright sun on the water today. And like our sunburns the fishing heated up as the day went on. – Capt. Steve

Congrats to Chance who hauled up the biggest Halibut of the season for us so far at 117 lbs. Everyone enjoyed the sunshine and great fishing today. –Capt. Steve
